Overview

The X-Force Haptics Kit is audio-driven. It uses the same stereo 3.5mm analog audio signal that external speakers or wired headphones use.

If you want to use the Haptics Kit and external speakers (or wired headphones) at the same time, you typically need a stereo 3.5mm splitter.

What to use (recommended)

Use a stereo 3.5mm (TRS) splitter:

  • 1× male 3.5mm stereo plug (to your audio source output)
  • 2× female 3.5mm stereo jacks (one to the Haptics Kit, one to speakers/headphones)

What to avoid

Avoid “headset/mic splitters” (TRRS splitters) that are designed to separate:

  • headphone audio, and
  • microphone input

Those are not the same thing as a stereo audio splitter, and they often will not work for this use case.

Basic setup steps

  1. Connect the 3.5mm splitter to your device’s 3.5mm audio output.
  2. Connect one splitter output to the X-Force Haptics Kit audio input.
  3. Connect the other splitter output to your powered external speakers (or wired headphones).

Troubleshooting

If it does not work as expected:

  • Confirm your device is actually outputting audio through the 3.5mm jack (not Bluetooth).
  • Try a different known-good 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Confirm your splitter is a stereo audio (TRS) splitter, not a headset/mic splitter.

If possible, send support a photo/link to the exact splitter and speakers/headphones you are using so we can confirm the type.

Still stuck?

If it still does not work after these steps, contact support@xgaming.com with:

  • A photo or link to the splitter
  • The device you are connecting to (PC, headset, etc.)
  • What you hear from the Haptics Kit speakers (if anything)
