Step 1: Launch Arcade Ranger in Meta Quest

  1. Put on your Meta Quest headset.
  2. Launch the Arcade Ranger game.

Step 2: Mapping the Virtual Arcade Machine

  1. Follow the in-game instructions to press Player 1 and Player 2 simultaneously on the Arcade2TV-XR unit.
    • This step maps the virtual arcade machine to the physical Arcade2TV-XR unit.

Step 3: Navigating the Menu

  1. Use the Player 1 joystick on the Arcade2TV-XR to move through the menu options.
  2. Select your game (ROM) by pressing the top-left button (A).
  3. Navigate to the PLAY button in the menu and press A to start the game.
  4. The menu will disappear, and the Arcade2TV-XR will now act as the game controller.

Step 4: In-Game Controls

  • Top-left button (A): Select or perform actions in the game.
  • Button to the right (B): Go back or exit menus.
  • Left flipper button: Acts as Coin.
  • Player 1 button: Used to Start the game.

Step 5: Button Mapping Configuration

  • To view, review, or edit the button mapping, go to the Configuration Menu in the Arcade Ranger game.

Important Notes:

  1. The Arcade2TV-XR only works after selecting the PLAY button to lock control to the selected game.
  2. If you quit or exit the game by pressing Bon your Meta Quest controller, you will lose control of the Arcade2TV-XR.
    • To regain control, re-enter the menu, reselect the game, and press PLAY using the Arcade2TV-XR controls.
